Work In Progress turns into "Nature Gardening"
After turning into games development officially, after a short try several years ago, I started a year and a half now working on the prototype of my "Work In Progress" / "Procedural Environment Prototype" thing, to turn it into a game. The current name is "Nature Gardening" at the moment, I'm searching for wording that would be ok across several languages with the same meaning.
This is an ecosystem management game where the environment is procedurally generated each new game.
You play as a ecological engineer on his job, from simple to complex missions on progressively larger ecosystems.
The game model plant growth, the dependencies between plants and their evolution.
I hope to participate in raising awareness to ecology and ecosystems and to climate change on long-term missions. The biome modeled is to South of France, a region known as Occitanie; I think about adding other regions in the future.
